We all remember the young girl who had a movie (Soul Surfer) based on her real-life experience with a shark attack. The movie was big hit and made the young Bethany a household name. Recently, she took to Instagram to make a huge announcement...
Bethany was 13-years-old when tragedy struck. She was out enjoying a morning surf when a shark attack took her left arm. According to Wikipedia - "On October 31, 2003, Hamilton, aged 13 at the time, went for a morning surf along Tunnels Beach, Kauai, with best friend Alana Blanchard, Alana's father, Holt, and brother Byron."
"Around 7:30 a.m., with numerous turtles in the area, she was lying on her surfboard with her left arm dangling in the water, when a 14-foot-long tiger shark attacked her."
Now, 14 years later, Bethany announces to the world that she is pregnant with her second child, and she has a little help in making the joyful proclamation. Bethany and her son Tobias are seen standing on the sand in Kauai, a Hawaiian Island. As they both put a hand on her baby bump, you can see outlined in the sand in front of them the words "20 weeks.”
"20 weeks along and feeling excited everyday! For those who don't know 20 weeks is about halfway along in pregnancy," wrote the 27-year-old.
