It was a very sad day for Days of Our Lives fans all across the country when the news broke that the show was possibly ending.

Rumors swirled around stating that Megyn Kelly would be taking the show's time slot for her new news show.

How could a television show that had been around since 1965 suddenly come to a halt simply to make room for a new daytime news show? Things didn't add up and the lifelong fans had something to say about it!

Apparently, voices were heard because there has been a VERY exciting announcement released: NBC successfully sealed new negotiations with Sony TV for another season! This would make this hit daytime drama hit a record of having 52 seasons. For now, there as been no indication that it is the final one.
