A North Carolina couple, Tammy and Drew Waltz, had a unique way of announcing to family and friends that they were adopting four siblings. They decided to film everyone's reaction to the good news! “I didn’t want to do the typical ‘Hey guys, we’re adopting’ Facebook announcement,” Tammy said. “I wanted something I could always remember and I wanted something that my kids remembered.”

What makes this story a little different from the typical adoption announcement is that everyone already knew the four kids. The children had all been part of a program that brings Eastern European orphans to American for the holidays. The non-profit organization, Open Hearts and Homes for Children, finds host families to take in the children during the Christmas break.

“We saw a picture of the oldest boy and when we saw his picture, we thought he was super cute and we were drawn to him,” Tammy said. “Then we saw that he had a sister. We were interested in adoption and the organization came back to us and said, ‘There [are] actually two more and we are not willing to separate them.’ So we were like, ‘Let’s take four.'”

The siblings came to stay with the Waltzes and the couple fell in love. They knew right away that these were their kids, so they started the process of adopting them. Watch the video, below, and join in the excitement. I literally cried tears of joy watching this. Enjoy!
