In the classic Disney movie, "101 Dalmatians," a couple has a pair of Dalmatian dogs who give birth to a whopping litter of 15 puppies. They are soon joined by 84 rescue pups, and everywhere they turn, little four-legged, spotted bundles of joy bound happily in every direction. I’m a serious dog lover, but the thought of that many dogs is enough to instantly give me anxiety!

While we know this, in reality, cannot happen, it is quite comical to imagine a scenario such as this. An average litter consists of five to nine puppies, though that number can range depending on the size and breed of the mother dog. One Australian family has gone wildly viral on the internet as of late and has been deemed the modern day 101 Dalmatians family.

They knew their beautiful three-year-old female dog named Miley was heavily pregnant. Never in their wildest dreams could they have imagined just how many puppies she would birth. When she began to go into labor, they waited with great anticipation to see the sweet little babies.

One by one, babies continued to arrive. The more puppies that were born, the wider the owners’ eyes opened. They could not believe what they were witnessing!

When all was said and done, the exhausted new mother was surrounded by a whopping 18 puppies! This birth was unlike any they had seen before and instantly became a record-breaking litter. They surely were NOT expecting this many little pups but they were overjoyed to have each and every one.

What would you do with a litter that size? Check out the video, below, to see the sweet puppies just days after their birth.
