Just because they are Royals, doesn’t mean there are never hiccups in their plans. In spite of having all the citizens of the United Kingdom under their rule, they were still unable to control the events of the day. As we all know, no one can control the weather; not even the charm and regal stature of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can change that fact.

After two whirlwind days in Stockholm, Sweden, they were originally scheduled to start day three of their Scandinavian trip by visiting Uppsala Airbase in Norway.

Due to safety concerns, however, William and Kate were forced to cancel their plans. With a vicious Nordic snow storm blowing in during the nighttime hours, it was determined that it would be too dangerous to fly to their original destination.

Instead, they made adjustments to their agenda and jetted off from Stockholm to Oslo Gardermoen Airport, in Norway, a safer destination. Upon their arrival, they were met by Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.

The foursome joined Norway’s King Harald and Queen Sonja for a delightful lunch at the Royal Palace. In the afternoon, the Duke and Duchess took a tour of the Princess Ingrid Alexandra Sculpture Park where they were greeted by throngs of admirers.

Once all the day's touring was completed, William and Kate relaxed at a Royal Dinner in the palace home of King Harald and Queen Sonja, capping off the day with a delicious meal of the Nordic variety. I wonder what they served?

Tomorrow, on the fourth and final day of their tour, the Duke and Duchess will visit the set of a popular television program entitled, "Skam." This show is being praised for addressing key social issues plaguing young people today: bullying, eating disorders, modern relationships, and sexual assault.

We're sure that the final day before William and Kate return home, will be full of breathtaking views of scenic Nordic locations, charming encounters with the lovely Scandinavian people, and precious moments cementing their newfound friendship with the Royal Family of Norway.
