Fun And Easy Flower Pops
These utterly adorable M&M spring flower pops will bring a darling pop of color for your next party! They're incredibly easy to assemble and they are quite the show-stopper.
All you need are a few simple ingredients to make these cuties. They're easily customizable and can be made in any shape or color to match your season or party.
INGREDIENTS:
3 tbsp. butter
5 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
6 c. crispy rice cereal
4-6 oz. white chocolate candy melts
M&Ms spring candies, in varying sizes, if possible
DIRECTIONS:
Spray a 9x13 inch pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.
In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for 45-60 seconds. Add the marshmallows and toss gently into the melted butter. Microwave the marshmallows for 1.5 minutes. Stop to stir. Melt another 30-60 seconds or until marshmallows are completely melted.
Add rice cereal to the melted marshmallows and combine well. Pour mixture into your prepared pan and press down to evenly distribute. Let the cereal treats set to cool for all least one hour.
Once they have cooled, begin cutting out round cereal treat shapes with a round cookie cutter or biscuit cutter. Use any size and can vary sizes for added fun!
Melt the white chocolate candy melts according to package directions. Using paper straws and/or lollipop sticks, dip the end into the melted chocolate and then insert into the round treat, about halfway into the side of the treat.
Use the remainder of the melted chocolate, coat the top sides of the pops, and decorate with the M&Ms using a variety of color combinations. Let the cereal treats cool and dry completely (at least one hour) before moving. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
