It seems as though it was only yesterday when the United States was under the presidential reign of the Kennedy family. While all eyes were on John F. Kennedy, they were also on his breathtaking wife, Jackie. Her demeanor, her poise, her contagious smile, her beauty, and her love for others are only a few of the reasons why everyone treasured the First Lady.

Not only was she a strong supporter of her husband in the political world, but she was also a trendsetter in the beauty and fashion world. No matter what outfit she donned or hairstyle she wore, she was hailed a genius. Women of all ages wanted to look just like her.

Although the beloved beauty passed away in 1994, her memory is just as much alive today as it ever was. Photographs of her bring us back to a specific moment in time, reminding us of a simpler time and lifestyle. Though Mrs. Kennedy is no longer with us, her legacy lives on through her descendants. One descendant, in particular, got a hefty dose of her genes.

Rose Kennedy Schlossberg is the 29-year-old daughter of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg. She was named after John F. Kennedy’s mother, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy. It was told that it was Jackie’s idea for her granddaughter to have that name.

Not only does she have the poise of her grandmother, she’s the spitting image of her as well! Their facial structure, eyes, smile, hair, and sense of fashion couldn’t be more similar. Those of us who hold Jackie Kennedy’s memory dear can appreciate the fact that, though she’s no longer with us, her legacy lives on through her grandchildren.
