Man Realizes His Home Had Been Burglarized. When He Found Out Who Actually Saved the Day, His Jaw DROPPED

Some people have guard dogs, and some even have protective cats. In this story, though, it's a pet rodent that saves the day in a MAJOR way.

Adam Pearl, from Meridian, Idaho, walked into his house and realized that something didn't quite seem right.

He was immediately greeted by his pet squirrel, Joey, as soon as he got home, but the home just felt different.

He noticed that several of the doors in the house had been opened, and after making his way to the back bedroom, his suspicion had been confirmed: his home had been broken in to.

After alerting the local police, he later found out some rather startling news.

While the suspect was being questioned, the officer noticed that the man had scratches on his hands. It turns out that the squirrel had continued to attack the intruder until he finally fled the house.
