Whenever I look at my dog, Thor, I can't help but be so grateful for him and the love he gives me. Thor might feel the same way about me because he is a rescue dog. When I spotted Thor at the shelter I fell in love with him and had to take him home.

The workers at the shelter informed me that he had been abused and would need a lot of love and time to adjust. I had no problem giving him both. The dog in this story needed a lot of time and love as well. Luckily the best dad ever had enough room in his heart for her.

Ayita, an adorable Bully breed dog, wasn't living in the best of situations. We are unsure if people were afraid of Ayita because of the stereotypes associated with her breed or whether she was simply neglected, but either way, Ayita deserved a better life than the one she had been dealt.

Pit Bull breeds, despite their stereotypes, are some of the most loving dogs in the world, even being known as "nanny dogs" when it came to their relationship with children. All Ayita wanted was love and to be loved. Then she met the people who changed her life!

One day a crew of rescuers with an organization called the "New York Bully Crew" found Ayita and immediately took her in and cared for her. The organization specialized in the rescue of bully breed dogs and Ayita was no exception.

One of the leaders of the crew took a special interest in Ayita and eventually became her dad! Ayita knew that she was in a safe place, with a loving family again. CLICK "NEXT PAGE" TO READ THE REST OF THE STORY...
