Police officers are ordered to serve and protect.

They are to serve and protect ALL who are in need, right? Even animals!

Well, when a mother goose sought the help of Sergeant Givens, a Cincinnati Police officers (when one of her goslings was tangled in a balloon string) he had to do something to help.

Sergeant Givens first called the SPCA Wildlife, but they were unable to help him.

Knowing he couldn't wait any longer, he then made a call for some back up to his fellow Officer Cecilia Charron. On arrival, Officer Charron bravely approached the mother goose and untangle the baby from the rope. Way to go, Officer Charron.

After freeing the gosling, mom and baby returned to the water and enjoyed the rest of their day.
