Prince Harry and Meghan stepped out for their second official appearance since announcing their engagement, the first being Christmas with the Royal family of course. Next on the list: a unique kind of radio station in London.
Showing that they are the young, hip couple of the Royal family and are in touch with the younger generation, the pair visited Reprezent Radio. Reprezent Radio is a youth-led radio station based in London that helps teens and young adults not only learn the ropes of running a radio station but also brings to light the voices of talented, unsigned young artists who may otherwise go undiscovered.
The Prince and Ms. Markle got a taste of the music and were able to spend time talking with several of the presenters about how the experience has helped shape them. The station not only employs youth, but it also uses its airwaves to bring awareness to many of the issues facing the younger generation of Britain. One young man even slipped the Prince his business card in hopes of getting the Royal Wedding D.J. gig! Now that would certainly be entertaining!
Even though Prince Harry and Meghan are out learning about and bringing awareness to an awesome program, everyone is still a critic. It seems that many people on Twitter and Instagram just could not get over the fact that Meghan's hair, which was pulled back into a bun, was a little, umm...messy?! Maybe it was little windy out or maybe she was just having a bad hair day.
What do you think? Just because someone is in the spotlight and will soon be a member of the Royal Family, does that give others the right to judge them based on their appearance? Is it really that important that one's hair is always perfectly in place? All I can say is I'm thankful that I don't feel the pressure to look perfect all of the time, aren't you?
