It's always exciting to spruce up your home decor from time to time. It's amazing how the addition of one simple piece can bring a breath of fresh air to your living space. If I had unlimited funds, I would change my decor frequently with each passing season! Since that's a little unreasonable, I've found ways around my silly desires that keep my house looking updated but don't break the bank.

I've discovered that changing up wall art is one of the most practical ways to update any room. Thankfully, wall art is rather simple and very affordable if you shop smart. I recently discovered a cool project that has me wanting to craft 24/7! It's a gorgeous gemstone mirror that costs a mere five dollars for supplies.

For this DIY, you'll need a transparent plate, a mirror, glass gemstones, and a hot glue gun. Make sure your plate is thoroughly cleaned. Take your round mirror and hot glue it into the center of the plate. Press it down on the edges to ensure that it's secured. Next, gather your gemstones. This is where the fun starts! Check out the next page to see the remaining steps in the project.
