Finally! After non-stop talk of the upcoming Royal wedding with Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle, there is finally a date set!

Kensington Palace has confirmed that the wedding will be captured at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018! On that day, millions will watch as the couple commits their lives to each other, in a glorious setting.

The couple announced their engagement on November 27 and, since then, the world has not stopped buzzing over the news. The announcement has turned the couple’s lives upside down (in the best way) and they are so grateful to share this happy season with the world.

Controversy has swirled around the legitimacy of Meghan’s commitment to her faith, which made securing the Windsor Chapel as the wedding venue somewhat complicated. However, Meghan, who was raised by a Presbyterian father and a Protestant mother, will be baptized in the Church of England prior to the wedding.

With May 19th being secured, the couple can begin planning the grand celebration! Guests will include several Royals such as the Kings and Queens of Belgium, Denmark, and of course England. Additionally, there will be several Hollywood stars joining the couple. It’s still uncertain as to whether or not President Trump will be invited.

Currently, May 19th is shared with only one other Royal couple; Dutch Prince Henry married Princess Amalia of Saxony-Weimar on that date in 1853. While the day is not particularly popular on its own, after this wedding, it will live in European history as one of the most celebrated of days.

We are so excited that a date has finally been released! Clear your calendars and get some girlfriends together because May 19th is going to be an amazing day of celebration!
