Meet Champas, an utterly adorable white feline who's been patiently waiting to find his forever family. He has been a resident at the Animal Welfare League for more than 400 days now. That's an incredibly long time to go without a loving home and family.
Naturally, the shelter workers were heartbroken to see him continually get passed by. He has an amazing personality and would make any family complete! They got together and decided that it was time to take things one step further to help out Champas.

When Champas first arrived at the shelter, he was really skittish and was fearful of everyone. He did everything he could to avoid interacting with humans and preferred to hide in corners all alone.
In order to help boost his confidence and his adoption chances, they eased him into a new position. That position was to the resident feline receptionist at the shelter.

The more people that entered the office, Champas soon came to realize that not all humans are terrible. He transformed from being a scardey cat (literally!) into a visitor-loving and incredibly friendly feline! It was at that moment, the shelter staff knew Champas was ready for his forever home.
