When I was a little girl, my best friend was my cat. Her name was Playful (isn’t that the cutest name ever?!) and she was the light of my life. We did everything together; we’d watch movies together, color together, eat together, and even sleep together. She was like my shadow; everywhere I went, Playful would be.

I know people say that dogs are man’s best friends, but I strongly believe that cats are tied with that title! You know what, I would even argue that there are some cats who take that title indefinitely. I might be a little biased, but I think Playful definitely took the title of my best friend!

Even as I grew older, Playful remained near and dear to my heart. Although we now live apart, we always manage to pick up right where we left off when we see each other. I think that’s one of the most special parts of a cat; they know you and love you forever.

Cat’s, by nature, are affectionate and self- sufficient. In fact, I feel as if cats don’t need us, but rather we need them and their unique love. I've always thought that cats are just as happy as can be on their own, but they can sense when we need love. They know when we need a cuddle as little pick me up.

One cat, in particular, went above and beyond her standard cuddly cat duties. Stella, a single cat, was known for her tender and affectionate spirit. She was always spending her time loving on her owner, Mary, and making sure that everyone around her felt special.

One day, while Mary was out, she found an animal that was in desperate need of love. Without any hesitation, Mary brought the little critter home to be loved by none other than sweet Stella. Click "NEXT PAGE" to see how Stella reacted to her new roommate… but let me warn you, you might cry from cuteness overload!
