Tired Of Cupcakes? These Mini Oreo Cheesecakes Are The Perfect Replacement!
Cupcakes are a classic treat option for parties and gatherings. Their sweet, sugary frosting and light, fluffy cake please the taste buds of young and old. What do you do, though, when you're a little burnt out on cupcakes but still want individual desserts for each of your party guests?
These mini Oreo cheesecakes are here to save the day! The creamy, sweet filling and the crunchy texture from the Oreos provide an amazing treat alternative.
The best part about these cheesecakes is that they require minimal preparation and they taste as though you spent a great deal of time slaving away in the kitchen. That's a win in my book!
INGREDIENTS:
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
12 Oreo cookies
crushed Oreos, for topping
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanilla, and eggs together until combined. Line a muffin tin with liners and place a whole Oreo at the bottom of each. Top with cheesecake mixture and crumbled Oreos. Bake for 22 minutes. Remove from oven and let them cool completely. Place in the refrigerator for three hours, leaving them in the muffin tin. Remove from tin before serving.
