Summer is the ultimate time to test out no-bake dessert options. During the hot weather months, the last thing on your mind is spending time in the kitchen with a blazing hot oven. No, thank you!
In my opinion, summer desserts should be the following: fruity and tart, dark and chocolatey, or light and chilled. Anything that falls in one of these categories wins in my book! Another added bonus for a summer dessert is ease of creating. I want to be sure that I can enjoy every ounce of summer with limited time indoors if possible.
When I discovered this white chocolate lasagna recipe, I immediately could tell it hit every mark on my wishlist. The Golden Oreo crust, cream cheese and pudding center, and the white chocolate layered throughout is a combination that makes my taste buds sing for joy. It needs no oven time, which is a huge bonus, and it is served chilled so it's perfect for those hot weather BBQs.
This recipe makes enough servings for a whole crowd and will satisfy tummies of the young and old! Check out the recipe below to see how to make this super scrumptious white chocolate lasagna. This is something that I will be bringing with me to all my summer parties.
1 pkg. Golden Oreos
6 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
16 oz. Cool Whip, thawed
2 (3.9 oz.) packages of white chocolate or vanilla instant pudding
3 c. milk

Place your Oreos in a food processor and pulse until the mixture has a fine consistency. Add your melted butter to the processor and mix until both ingredients are combined. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and the cool whip. Blend well. Pour this on top of your Oreo crust.
In another bowl, make your pudding by adding your milk and pudding mix into your bowl. Whisk together until pudding thickens. Pour your pudding on top of your cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least five minutes. Top off with the remaining Cool Whip. Add white chocolate shavings to the top for garnish. Refrigerate at least one hour before serving. Enjoy!
