Every January, most people compile a list of goals they would like to achieve in the new calendar year. On the top of almost everyone’s list is something that involves getting healthier. Some vow to be more consistent in working out or going on walks, while others attempt to clean up their eating habits.

One way many individuals have found to prove successful is joining a club or group of people with like-minded goals. This not only provides encouragement and inspiration to continue on, it also provides incredible accountability. With those three combined, you’re destined for success!

A program that has gained a great deal of positive attention and assisted people all across the nation to lose those unwanted pounds is Weight Watchers. One of their hit dessert recipes that are floating all over the web is a Pineapple Angel Food Cake. Not only does this flavor combination send you straight to fantasies of warm, summer weather, but it’s got one perk that has everyone in awe. There are only three ingredients needed to create this flavorful masterpiece! All you need is a box of angel food cake mix (or you could prepare a homemade version if you prefer), a 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple, and 1 container of frozen whipped topping.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9x13-inch pan or bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the cake mix into a large bowl. Add in the can of crushed pineapple, juice and all. Stir the ingredients together until well-combined. Pour into pan and bake until the cake is a beautiful golden brown (around 35 minutes). When cooled and ready to serve, top each slice with a dollop of a thawed Cool Whip. After you sink your teeth into the first bite, you’ll see just why it’s gained so much recognition!
