First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the…
We all know how the song goes- and unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 72 hours, you know that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are officially expecting their first child!
When Prince Harry married Meghan Markle on May 19th wedding, fans were hoping to hear baby news very shortly after. The couple has both expressed their love for children and Harry even shared that they hope to start a family sooner than later.
The question is: how much later?
Well, apparently it wasn’t that much later! Not more than 10 after saying their vows, the couple stayed true to their word. On October 15th, Kensington Palace announced that Harry and Meghan were pregnant and that she was expecting their first child. In a later post, they announced that Meghan had completed her 12-week ultrasound and she and her baby were in good health.
This leaves Harry and Meghan due with a Spring 2019 baby. Judging by the timeline, it was likely that the last pictures before getting pregnant were taken when Meghan visited Harry’s charity, Sentebale. The couple arrived at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club on July 26th- just ten weeks after their May 19th wedding. See pictures from their day below!
This is indeed an exciting time for both Harry and Meghan as well as their families- particularly Harry’s! In a short couple of weeks, the couple will officially be moving into Kensington Palace in Apartment 1. While they currently live in Nottingham Cottage on the palace grounds, sharing walls with Prince William and Kate will make their adjustment from a family of two three all the merrier.
