11-Year-Old Girl with Cerebral Palsy Refuses to Let Her Disabilities Hold Her Back

December 01, 2016

11-year-old Ashley McCoy was born with cerebral palsy.

One thing about her is for certain: she does not let her disability stop her one bit.

In fact, she recently participated in her first pageant, National American Miss, and proudly strutted down the catwalk. In this pageant, the crowd began to chant her name as she proceeded down the catwalk with her walker. She also performed a song on the piano, a hobby she took up as therapy to her condition.

Acts like this are just small examples of how strong Ashley truly is.

Ashley, you are a huge inspiration to us all!
