My entire life, I have been in love with live performances. My mom always said that it was the performer in me that appreciated live acts. Some of my favorite performances have always been worship and praise hymns.

Praise music is truly beautiful, especially when sung by children. To me, there is nothing more beautiful than hearing a sweet child singing hymns and praise music. When I found this video of 12-year-old Callista Clark singing one of my favorite songs, “Go Rest High On That Mountain,” I was nearly moved to tears.

Callista Clark, a vocal prodigy, has been known to blow away millions with her viral singing videos on the Internet. She’s on tours and has performed hundreds of times. While she’s learning the entertainment world well, she still knows her roots.

In her rendition of “Go Rest High On That Mountain,” she is far from a Hollywood starlet; Callista is on her family’s rural property, sitting casually in a chair with her guitar, and playing barefoot. As soon as she starts singing, goosebumps cover my body. At only 12, her voice is far beyond her years.

Callista sings the hymn with absolute grace and power. Throughout the entire song, she remains composed while releasing the sound of an angel. She is totally blowing the minds of everyone who witnesses her gift of song.

Callista has several videos on her YouTube channel where you can see her performing other songs. Callista, you’ve got a real gift in your voice! Thank you for sharing your passion with the world. I hope you never stop singing! This is gorgeous!
