86-Year-Old Grandpa Learned to Knit So He Can Make Hats for Preemies

November 20, 2016

86-year-old Ed Mosley picked up a new hobby: knitting. This retired engineer decided to adopt this hobby after a local hospital reached out to the assisted living facility he lived at to ask if the residents could make hats for premature babies. He gladly took them up on the offer and was able to knit 55 out of the 300 needed!! They told them that there was a constant need for these little hats, so Ed and his caretaker agreed to make 30 each month.
