More than 20 years ago the world lost a beloved princess and exceptional human being. Princess Diana of Wales died tragically on August 31, 1997. Since that sad day, the world has not stopped grieving her loss, and it’s likely the world will never forget the free-spirit and radiant beauty of Princess Diana.
Perhaps the two people who felt the loss the most were her children, sons William and Harry. 20 years ago, they were only 15 and 12 years old when they had to walk behind their mother’s casket during her funeral procession. What they lost that day was so much more than just a mother; they lost their friend, their supporter, their mentor, and their confidante.
Years following her death, the public wondered how William and Harry would carry on normally. Of course, there is very little “normal” in being part of The Royal Family. However, the world has been pleasantly surprised at the boys' achievements in life, specifically regarding their personal lives.
William and Harry have both managed to find love in fabulous women. William married his bride, Kate Middleton, in 2011 and Harry is engaged to American, Meghan Markle, with a wedding date set for May 19, 2018. William and Kate have lived quite admirably; since their wedding, they’ve welcomed two children, George and Charlotte, and are expecting another child in the Spring of 2018.
Their family is absolutely stunning and the world has fallen in love with their darling children. Prince George is quite possibly the most picturesque little prince, and Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is winning over the world - one picture a time.
In early January 2018, Princess Charlotte’s first school photo was shared with the world. When it was released, the world collectively gasped, but not just for her cuteness. Rather, the young princess looks strikingly like her grandmother, Princess Diana. When the photo was released, the media just about lost it in seeing the ever-missed smile of the beloved Princess Di.
Numerous pictures capture the resemblance between Princess Diana and her namesake, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
They truly do resemble one another and it’s been such a pleasant surprise. Perhaps this is why so many people adore the young princess!
Princess Di fans can feel like they see Princess Diana every day when they catch a glimpse of Princess Charlotte. I can’t help but wonder if William and Kate feel that same way. Do you think they favor each other? We do!
