Growing up in the South, I learned at a very young age to be appreciative of many different animals. We had many friends and neighbors who had large farms and I absolutely adored going to visit.
There were many different animals present on the farm, but one of the ones that peaked my interest the most was the chickens.
A specific family friend of ours had a chicken farm and it was undoubtedly my favorite place ever to go visit.
They had so many chickens, young and small. They were simply fascinating to watch. I loved holding the teeny little chicks while the adult chickens wandered around all over the farm.
It was pretty comical to see the adult chickens get stirred up and start running around. Their teeny little legs would go as fast as lightning and their chubby bodies wobbled along atop them. It was adorable to say the least.
