Hollywood Star Stuns Entertainment World With Unexpected Announcement, Leaving Fans Extremely Concerned About His Future

June 14, 2018

Hollywood superstar Chris Pratt, who is currently making the rounds on a 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' press tour, has stunned his fans with a totally unexpected statement about the future of his movie career.

Pratt is riding the wave of moviedom success following his blockbuster performances in 'Guardians of the Galaxy', its sequel 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'; 'Avengers: Infinity War'; and the soon-to-be-released 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' set to open in the United States on June 22, 2018.

Last spring, “Pratt received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his achievements in motion pictures. It was also announced that he would reprise his role as Emmet in 'The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part'.”

Now that the former 'Parks and Recreation' actor has found mega-fame on the silver screen, most fans had lost hope that he would ever return for a reboot of the beloved small screen series that ran for six seasons, 2009-2015.

'Parks and Recreation' Executive Producer Amy Poehler, who also starred in the series as lovable perfectionist Leslie Knope, has been floating the idea of the wacky ensemble getting together once again to revisit their lives as residents of the fictional Midwestern town of Pawnee, Indiana.

Some of the cast has already indicated their intent to sign on for the project but, in light of Andy Dwyer portrayer, Chris Pratt’s meteoric rise in the movie world, no one was expecting him to be able to participate. But, during one of his stops on his Jurassic World press tour, he delighted fans with a completely unexpected announcement.

Pratt told E!News that as long as he’s in town, he’d do the reboot, saying, “It films ten minutes from my house so that’d be dope. I mean, you can’t do Parks and Rec without Andy.”

Pratt went on to say, “I miss Andy, I would love it. I know I’d do it.”

I don’t think he could have been any more clear than that! And, although it’s unlikely that Pratt has turned in his Screen Actors Guild card for good, it does indicate that the series reboot is very important to him and that he will likely do everything in his power to take part.

And those of us who desperately miss Andy and April, Leslie and Ben, Chris and Ann, eagerly look forward to that joyous day when we can take another peek into the lives of the employees of the Pawnee Indiana Parks and Recreation Department! It'll be like visiting old friends, and we can hardly wait!
