The relationship of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is history in the making! The fairytale romance of Harry and Meghan has captured the world’s hearts and now, the Lifetime movie, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance. While so much of the relationship has been sheltered from the media, A Royal Romance offers an incredible chance to see the relationship between Harry and Meghan begin and develop.

A Royal Romance reveals many real experiences of the world’s most eligible bachelor and Hollywood’s beloved actress as they fall quickly and not-so-privately in love with each other. The actors, Murray Fraser and Parisa Fitz-Henley, beautifully capture Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as two young people looking for love in a highly critical and overly exploited world.

We got a chance to sit down with Murray to learn a little about his experience playing Prince Harry and what we found was truly amazing. Murray Fraser, a 23-year-old Scottish actor, made it his mission to emulate the personhood of Prince Harry, something that people often overlook.

Murray shared that he wanted to “catch the things that make him tick rather than going for cheap thrills.” His loyalty to understand Prince Harry as simply “Harry” was not done in vain- not even a little bit.

While Murray can dye his hair red and adjust his accent quite easily, it was Harry's soul that he wanted to connected with above all else. His efforts to understand Prince Harry as a person were done by studying Prince Harry over the years through public interviews and visits along with developing trust with Meghan’s actress, Parisa.

Murray shared that he and Parisa worked to connect with one another the same way Harry and Meghan connected. He said, “We would grab lunch and dinner and chat through the script and say ‘How would you react? Why would that make you feel this way?” He went on to say that “giving attention to the real emotions helped them support one another and the personhood of the real Harry and Meghan.”

Through watching the film, you can see that Murray’s efforts to discover the private person of Prince Harry truly set his character apart. Murray captures so much more than just the rebel bachelor prince; he captures the constant stress of abiding to tradition, the heartbreak of losing a loved one and doing everything to protect his heart, and the joy of falling in love honestly.

Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance can be watched exclusively on Lifetime! The movie is full of personal connection and- of course- romance! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will marry on May 19th, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle!
