Beloved Coach On ‘The Voice’ Adam Levine Makes Tearjerking Announcement But Surprisingly, His Best Friend Black Shelton Is Over The Moon

May 24, 2019

It’s time to say farewell to “The Voice” veteran coach, Adam Levine.

Adam Levine stared in the first season of The Voice- a competitive singing show that features four celebrity judges. Since his very season in 2011, Adam has been a beloved coach by the audience. But perhaps even more adored than his accolades, character, and coaching style is his relationship with fellow coach, country superstar, Blake Shelton.

The two singers come from totally different worlds; Adam from Pop and Blake from Country. But their friendship was instantly recognized and proved to be a special and unexpected aspect of the show for 16 seasons.

After the 16th season finale aired, “The Voice” Host, Carson Daly, announced on The Today Show that Adam had officially decided to say farewell to the show.

Fans and viewers were so heartbroken to hear the news; after 16 seasons, tons of laughter, and 3 times winning The Voice, Adam had decided to move on.

But Blake, Adam’s best friend on the show, was thrilled! And not at all for what you would imagine… Blake was thrilled because the singing coach that would be taking his place was his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani!

Gwen Stefani stared as a judge on The Voice in Seasons 7, 9, and 12. But now, she’s coming back as a staple Judge! If Blake can’t have his best friend to work alongside, at least he now has his girlfriend!

Of course, we wish nothing but the best for Adam and his family. There has not been confirmation on what Adam will be doing instead of The Voice, but we wish well!
