Desserts are simply my favorite thing to eat ever.
In a perfect world, I would imagine that the streets would be lined with various pastries and treats, none of which contained calories and each and every one was healthy. Don't you think that would be pretty grand?
If someone were to ask me what my favorite dessert of all time was, that would be a pretty tough call.
While I do favor a good, juicy pie and a big slab of cake covered in sweet icing, I think that the dessert that wins my heart every single time is chocolate chip cookies.
Though it's something pretty generic and simple, when done right, they have the ability to make people young and old smile with contentment.
They can't be too crunchy on the outside and the chocolate chips need to be perfectly melted so that with every bite, you get a burst of chocolate.
It makes my mouth water just thinking about it! While I would love to make them more often from scratch, I don't always have extra time to do so.
Well, I didn't have the time until I found this recipe! Thanks to my handy Crock Pot, I now can have ready-to-eat yummy chocolate chip bars at the drop of a hat.
