The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is home to some of the most adorable Zoo residents in the entire world. After an extremely heavy snowfall, they also were home to some of the happiest and most playful animals around.
After the storm blew through and there was nothing left but the heavy snow on the ground, the animals were glad to be allowed back outside. However, none of them were more excited than the Red Pandas!
When the Red Pandas were released into their snow-covered exhibit, they raced around and couldn’t stop exploring. The brisk air brought excitement and energy into their lives, giving them something new and fun that no zoo could truly replicate without the help of mother nature.
They raced through their yard, dropping onto their backs in the snow, rolling over and wriggling around in the cutest display ever. They ran along the snow on their hind legs, mimicking their beloved zookeepers.
After trying, and failing, to get their human friends to join in, they began to bounce around, scampering up trees and having the best time of their lives. Their jumping and bounding through the snow brought a smile to the face of everyone who was lucky to see their antics.
I think it’s safe to say that these Red Pandas absolutely adored the snow that fell, and can’t wait for the next snowfall. They’ve also pretty much cemented themselves as one of my favorites animals now that I’ve seen their cute behavior!
