After 30 Heartbreaking Years In A Research Lab, This Chimpanzee Is Rescued And Has A Second Chance At Motherhood In A Way No One Saw Coming!

March 20, 2017

Chimpanzees are one of the smartest and most human-like creatures. Therefore, putting them in captivity and using them for research is just a heartbreaking situation.

For 30 years, Foxie the chimpanzee lived in research labs where she was used for breeding and scientific study.

Sadly, after she would have her babies, they would be taken away to be used for more research. Foxie was never able to raise any of her babies over the years.

Thankfully Foxie was rescued and now has been given a second chance at being able to use her motherly instincts. At the sanctuary she is now living in, she has found happiness and comfort in dolls, and especially Troll dolls!

She has hundreds of dolls that she carries around and tends to just like they are her own babies. It truly is the most adorable thing to see how loving and caring she is towards her babies.

You can see what an amazing mother Foxie is by watching the video below!

Does this just melt your heart seeing Foxie have a second chance at motherhood?
