Five-year-old Lucas Hernandez disappeared from his family home in Wichita, Kansas on February 17, 2018. He was at home with step-mother, Emily Glass, and her one-year-old daughter when he disappeared, and she had stepped away to take a shower and had then fallen asleep. Three hours later, she called the cops to report his disappearance. The search began immediately, with the police and search and rescue dogs scouring local homes and parks for any sign of Lucas.
They brought in search and rescue dogs and scoured local parks as they searched for Lucas. The charges are not related to Lucas or his disappearance and are based upon a situation with her daughter.
Lucas is described as standing around four feet tall and weighing about 60 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with a bear on it, black sweatpants, and white socks.
