April 26, 2018

The Colorado State Patrol issued an Amber Alert on April 26 after they began to fear a missing 12-year-old girl had been abducted. Raeanna Rosencrans was abducted from Grand Junction, Colorado, and police have now issued an alert about the missing girl.

Police believe she was abducted near D ½ road and Larry’s Meadow around 3 pm on Wednesday. She has not been seen or heard from since she went missing.

According to a witness, Raeanna entered a vehicle with an unknown man after he called out her name, appearing to know her. Police have yet to be able to identify the suspected kidnapper.

While police have not identified her kidnapper, they have identified a suspected sex offender as her kidnapper. 47-year-old Jody Haskin is Raeanna’s step-father, although he has no parental rights to Raeanna. There is currently an active warrant out for his arrest for sexual assault of a child.

The green “boxy” sedan identified as her kidnapper’s vehicle has been recovered in Rifle, and police are investigating how the vehicle arrived there, when, and who was driving.

Raeanna Rosencrans is described as standing 5’1” and weighing 135 pounds. She has brown hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing black jeans and a black shirt with white designs. She had on Adidas shows, and had a black and white backpack.

Jody Haskin is described as standing 6’ and weighing in at 215 pounds. Matching to the prior description released of the kidnapper, Haskin is balding with brown eyes and glasses.

If you have any information regarding Raeanna’s disappearance, we urge you to call the police immediately! Please pray for her safe return to her family!
