Beloved Actress Passes Away From Unknown Causes at 52, Thousands Mourn The Loss Of This Cherished Icon

52-year-old Pamela Gidley was a beloved actress and model who won over the world with her gorgeous looks and magnificent smile. On Sunday, April 29, her family announced her death in a local obituary, stating that she had passed away on April 16.

Born in Methuen, Massachusetts on June 11, 1965, she grew up in Salem, New Hampshire with her two older brothers. After graduating from high school, she moved to New York City where she was quickly spotted by a modeling agent who knew she was sure to be a star.

On March 12, 1985, she won a contest in Sydney, Australia where she was named Wilhelmina Modeling Agency’s “Most Beautiful Girl In The World.” During her time as a model, she began to study acting at the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts.

It wasn’t long before she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a future on screen! In 1986, she made her debut in the film, Thrashin’. From there, she went on to act in many other films such as Dudes, Permanent Record, the Blue Iguana, and the Little Vampire.

However, the work she was best known for wasn’t on the big screen, it was in fact, her television series. She worked on a variety of popular shows, including Macgyver, The Pretender, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Overall, Pamela has received over 44 credits for her acting work. Pamela was adored by her fans who loved to watch the way she danced across the screen and into our hearts.
