Beloved Television Star Succumbs To Cancer At 74

Steven Ronald Bocho was a beloved television star, 10 time Emmy winner, and a devoted family man until he passed away from Leukemia on April 1, 2018. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2014, and fought the disease valiantly, even undergoing a bone marrow transport in his attempt to beat the horrible diagnosis.

Steven was a producer and writer on many different crime drama television shows, including Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, Doogie Howser, M.D., and even NYPD Blue. From 2014 to 2016, he worked on Murder In The First, his last major series. From 1981 to 1995, he earned 20 different awards and was even inducted into the television Hall of Fame.

Steven is survived by his wife, two children, and his beloved sister, fellow actor Joanna Frank. During his life, he was married three times. His first marriage was to Gabrielle Levin, whom he was with from 1963-1969. He then married Barbara Bosson in 1970, and together they raised two children before divorcing in 1997. In 2000, he fell in love with Dayna Kalins, whom he remained married to until he died. Steven will be missed by all who knew him, so please be sure to keep his friends and family in your prayers!
