Bengal tigers are some of the most majestical creatures on the planet. They are simply stunning to look at. They typically are orange with black stripes and a little bit of white on their face and chest. But I think the most beautiful tigers are the WHITE TIGERS, they are stunning!
Did you know: Tigers are the largest felines in the world. Many cultures around the world consider the tiger to be a symbol of strength and courage! A mother tiger can have up to seven cubs at a time but typically only two cubs survive especially in the wild because the mother tiger can't supply enough food for that many cubs.
Since 2010, the Bengal tiger has been classified as one of the most endangered species by the IUCN. In 2011, the total population was estimated at fewer than 2,500 and since has still been declining.
But good news, the tiger world just got two new additions, and wait till you see these two beauties. With the birth of these twins, the number has just increased. YAY!!
The Bali Zoo recently celebrated the birth of these twin Bengal tiger cubs. The twins were introduced to visitors at the Indonesian zoo just 10 short days after their birth and what a remarkable sight to see. The twins parents are long-time favorites at the zoo, mom, Kartini and dad, King. This tiger couple is 11 and 12 years old. CLICK "NEXT PAGE" TO READ MORE AND WATCH THE VIDEO...
