It’s been months since Beth Chapman, the adored star of the television show, Dog the Bounty Hunter, shared with the world that she was diagnosed with cancer. Since her tragic announcement, Beth has discovered a whole new world of support from her family and fans.
Dog the Bounty Hunter‘s Duane “Dog” Chapman and his wife, Beth, became international stars after their show, Dog the Bounty Hunter, became a viral sensation. Living in Hawaii, the couple star on a series with several members of their family finding wanted criminals in the Hawaiian islands.
In November 27th, Beth was hospitalized after discovering a mass that was obstructing her breathing in 2017. Dog later shared with Us Weekly that they had discovered cancer in his wife’s throat. On November, more than a year after making the terrifying discovery, they learned that it was cancer.
Once Beth had undergone the surgery, Dog was asked by paparazzi how she was recovering. He shared, “They got most of the throat cancer out. Her airway is clear now, but the doctors are afraid that it has spread. They are doing a biopsy scan to check if it has spread. I told them I need to know right away and they’re going to get me the results by tomorrow. Hopefully, it hasn’t spread. Last time it didn’t spread at all, so we’re hoping the same thing.”
Sadly, Beth is battling life-threatening cancer. Dog has asked his friends and family and fans to “Please say a prayer,” as “she’s not doing good.” But regardless of cancer scares and the battle that Beth is in, she is choosing to remain optimistic about her time with friends and family.
Mostly, her husband. Their special time together is something that Beth lovingly appreciates. She managed to snap one picture with her husband along with the caption, “Sooooo in love with this guy!” The two appeared in longtime loves embracing on a porch.
In late March 2019, Dog and Beth shocked fans by spending a night out together for a meal. Dog and Beth dined at the popular restaurant, Avra, in Beverly Hills, California. Beth stunned in full hair and makeup and her cheerful spirit made fans smile at the way she had chosen to step out and “live her life” even in the midst of such a difficult time.
Beth confessed that while “every day is a struggle, but she's hanging in there and choosing to stay positive.” She added that she was especially grateful for her husband who has been faithful and “by her side.”
Please keep Beth and her family in your prayers. Navigating cancer can so hard and we pray for a quick recovery for Beth and we pray that she continues to live in gratitude and joy. You’re amazing Beth!
