Born Blind And Rejected By Her Mother, Deer Is Given A Second Chance. What Happens Next Is Astonishing
There are times in life that are just plain difficult. Whether circumstances don't go our way or maybe something beyond our control happens, humans and animals alike go through hard times. It is in hard times, however, when we need good friends the most. That is especially true of a deer named Dillie.
When Dillie, the deer, was born, the odds were stacked against her. Dillie was born on a deer farm and was at risk of being used for meat or trophy hunting. To make matters worse, Dillie was blind with severe cataracts on her eyes. Because of her disability, Dillie was rejected by her mother.
Dillie had little hope left for a good life until the day she was rescued. Dillie was immediately taken to an emergency clinic for observation. While at the clinic, Dillie began to grow stronger and gained the attention of the vet who was taking care of her.
The vet loved Dillie like she was one of her children. Eventually, she decided the best thing for Dillie would be for the deer to come live with her. In no time at all, the papers were signed and Dillie was officially adopted and a member of the family.
Dillie was soon walking through the doorway of her new home. Because Dillie was born on a deer farm and was blind, she was never introduced to the wild and, therefore, for her own safety, would never be released into the wild. Dillie's new mom, however, lived on a large piece of land, so Dillie would have plenty of room to run around safely.
To make Dillie feel more at home, her new mom gave the deer her own room inside the house. The room was upstairs so Dillie had to learn how to climb the stairs, which was a good skill to have. The room was soon decorated and filled with all kinds of stuffed animals for Dillie to snuggle with while she slept.
With all the love and affection she was surrounded with, Dillie started showing improvements in multiple ways. One improvement, in particular, shocked Dillie's mom in the best way possible. The video on the next page will show you just how far Dille has come. CLICK "NEXT PAGE" TO READ THE REST OF THE STORY...
