Beloved Hollywood t.v. actress, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away today at the age of 80 at a Connecticut hospital.
Close friend and assistant, Mara Buxbaum, issued a statement to TMZ stating, "Today, beloved icon, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away at the age of 80 in the company of friends and her loving husband of over 33 years, Dr. S. Robert Levine."
Moore was first diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 33, near the start of her beloved time spent on The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
At the time, she was already wildly popular for her adorable role in the popular 60s sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show.
With her beauty and grace, she's provided us with many, many years of wonderful television entertainment.
