Meghan Markle is officially a member of the world’s most prestigious royal family, and despite the individuals who attempted to end her relationship with Prince Harry (i.e. her family), Meghan married her prince in what was truly one of the most beautiful weddings in history.
If you were on the edge of your seats during the days leading up to the royal wedding like we were, then surely you were curious as to how those who were most involved were actually feeling as the big day approached.
Each time a new scandal or media topic from Meghan’s family surfaced, I couldn’t help but wonder how the bride-to-be was feeling. Surely, it couldn’t have been easy to navigate such public dramatics days before one of the biggest moments in Meghan’s life.
In just two weeks before the wedding, Meghan’s brother had sent a handwritten letter to Prince Harry, her half-sister had done several television interviews claiming Meghan’s ulterior motives, and her father had been found in a photo scandal and forced into open-heart surgery from the stress of the media. To say things got out of hand is an understatement.
While we may never hear from the Royal Family themselves, we have our sources!
In a recent moment with Camilla Parker Bowles, the bride’s newest mother-in-law, we learned exactly how the royal family was feeling in the upcoming days for the wedding. And let’s just say, we weren’t disappointed.
InStyle Magazine reports that the Duchess of Cornwall told reporters at 5 News that she thought the wedding day itself was “Very uplifting.” But the days leading up to it- now that’s a different story!
She shared some rather interesting words. She spilled, “We all wondered what whatever would happen next… But then, everything turned out alright!”
Confirming that those closest to Meghan also thought it was an nail-biting experience was truly surprising. The Royal Family rarely shares their opinions and personal experiences so we were quite shocked!
Thankfully, the wedding went off without a hitch and was truly one of the most magical days in history! We wish the bride and groom the very best!
