Camilla Parker Bowles has a way of constantly keeping her name in the spotlight, whether she means to or not. Since news broke that she had an affair with Prince Charles while he was still married to Princess Diana, the public has yet to forgive her.

On April 9, Camilla and Charles celebrated thirteen years of marriage. Though the marriage started out in a less than favorable way, they have stood together amid throngs of negativity.

When you think of a Royal anniversary celebration, your mind automatically goes to glamorous, elaborate parties or a beautifully secluded romantic destination. For the Duchess and her husband, their anniversary couldn’t have been more opposite.

The two spent their anniversary alone, in separate countries - she back home in England and he in Australia. This news has taken the internet by storm, and many have grand speculations of the troubling marriage between the two.

A royal insider elaborated on the matter, trying to put bidding rumors to bed: “The Duchess doesn’t want this, she does get tired. When they visit Australia on tour, the Duchess is coming back early. The schedule is too much for her, as she’s 70 years old. She doesn’t want to take too much on.”

Prince Charles is only one year younger but seemed it fit to continue the tour. This leaves so many wondering if she deliberately left early to spend the anniversary alone.

If the insider was truthful in stating that she was tired from taking on too much at once, this poses yet another question: When the time comes, will she be able to handle the tasks that are required of her when Charles becomes King?

This entire scenario has left many scratching their heads, wondering just what is up with the two. Our hope is that all is well and their marriage is as strong as ever before. When it comes to something like this, though, only time will be able to show the real truth behind the matter.
