HOPE FOR PAWS is a 501 C-3 nonprofit animal rescue organization, based in Los Angeles, California.  They rescue dogs and all other animals who are suffering on the streets and in the shelters. “We foster these animals in our home, cage free, until we can find them permanent, loving families.” Their goal is to educate people on the importance of companion animals in our society to stop the cycle of animal neglect and abuse. You can also go to their Facebook page for more info and to watch more rescue videos.

Hope for Paws was contacted about a cat who was trapped deep inside a drain pipe. When rescuers arrived they discovered not only the cat but her four newborn kittens. Usually, Hope for Paws just rescues dogs but how do they turn their backs on this mama kitty? The rescue was not easy because the cat and her kittens were in a 60-foot pipe. The Rescuers had to use a pole to get them out, and it took some time and patience. Once they got the felines out of the pipe, the rescuers named the mama cat and her kitties.

Meet mama Nutella and her four babies, Toffee, Snickers, BonBon, and Nougat. All are now safe and happy together in foster care, and will soon be looking for their loving forever homes.

"The kittens are doing great, they're just happy little kittens, around six weeks old," Hagar said. "The mom is very young so it makes our work a little easier, but it's still going to take some time before she warms up to everyone and gets comfortable." Watch this epic rescue, below.
