The adored Celeste Yarnall took her final breath after a tragic four-year-long battle with Ovarian cancer. She was 74.
Celeste was best known for her work in the iconic Star Trek series and in the film Live A Little, Love A Little staring Elvis Presley. Celeste passed away on October 7th, 2018 from Ovarian cancer.
Since her passing, her husband and her fans have mourned her great loss. Her husband, British artist Nazim Nazim, shared his heartbreak with the world in a report to the Hollywood Reporter. He shared, heartbreakingly shared, “She was magnificent in everything she did. She was my beloved queen.”
Celeste has been a Hollywood icon since the early 1960’s. While she was a well known character in the Star Trek series, she acted in over 54 roles.
Just weeks before her death, Celeste was filming the Star Trek Equinox: The Night of Time. Her voice and talent will forever be missed.
Celeste leaves behind millions of fans, her husband, her daughter, and a granddaughter. Please pray for those who knew and worked with Celeste; losing a loved one to cancer is so very difficult to navigate. See the statement her husband left below:
