Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ve likely heard of the utterly adorable renovation duo, Chip and Joanna Gaines. From the moment they made their big television debut on their hit show, Fixer Upper, people of all ages have come to know and love the entire Gaines family.
Joanna certainly seems to be the calm, cool, and collected one of the bunch while Chip makes it his priority to be the biggest class clown possible. Together, they’re an absolute match made in heaven!
When it comes to holidays, you never can tell just what is up Chip’s sleeve. This year for Valentine’s Day, he went above, beyond, and then some for Joanna. Needless to say, fans all across the web were swooning with delight.
The Texas native dug into his southern roots and took a hint from an old country song for his first antic. He went down to the Silos at Magnolia Market where he publicly declared his love for his bride. In big, green lettering, he had the words, “Chip Hearts Jo” plastered on the side of the silo.
He knew he’d get in hot water if it wasn’t removable, so he thought ahead and made sure to use adhesive stickers for the gesture. Smart thinking, Chipper! He was so proud of himself that he took to social media to post his message. He captioned it: “Happy Valentine’s Day, sweet girl!! #inJohnDeereGreen”
If that wasn’t sweet enough, Joanna had shared to her Instagram Stories an image that she captioned, “Valentine’s breakfast aftermath,” alongside a picture of a table where the entire family sat down to celebrate the day of love. From the looks of it, everyone left with happy tummies and smiles on their faces!
We’re happy to see that even when the Gaines aren’t in front of a camera crew, they still manage to remain their true selves. For that, we love them even more!
