Bachelor Contestant,38, Dies Suddenly From Seizure; Now Friends And Family Heartbroken And Begging For Answers

Friends and Family are heartbroken after learning that former Bachelor contestant, Cristy Caserta, has died. She was only 38 years old.


Cristy reportedly died after suffering from an unexpected seizure on Thursday, October 4th.

Cristy was discovered by a former classmate following her seizure. Her friend immediately called 911 to which first responders arrived several minutes later.

Upon arrival, they found Cristy to be in cardiac arrest and began to perform CPR on her. She was then transferred to Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. It is unclear as to whether or not she died during CPR, during transportation to Westside Regional Medical Center, or after arrival.

The Daily Mail reports that there no foul play is believed to be involved. It is also unclear to whether or not she was discovered by Cristy suffered from epilepsy.

Cristy gained notoriety after appearing on season 15 of the fan-favorite reality show, The Bachelor. Cristy appeared on contestant, Brad Womack’s, second season of the show. She was voted off of the show within the first week.

Please pray for her friends and family as they navigate this difficult season. Processing the death of a loved one is never easy, especially given the fact that Cristy’s death came so suddenly. Please keep Christy’s family in your prayers.
