Baby Sussex is coming! And many believe he or she will be here much sooner than later! One sure sign of Baby S is somewhat unexpected, but for true Meghan Markle fans, it’s as clear as day.
When Kensington Palace announced the Duke and Duchess’ baby news in October 2018, it wasn’t clear when Baby Sussex would make his or her’s grand arrival. The announcement simple shared that the couple would be welcoming their first child in “Spring 2019.”
Since then, Meghan’s due date became an international topic of conversation. In fact, many believed that she was much further along than she cared to say- as she began showing quite noticeably immediately after the announcement was made. But while tabloid after tabloid debated on her true due date, only time would tell.
Now, here we are: April 5th, 2019 and still no baby. April is considered Spring, and given that the Duchess has moved to her new home at Windsor and has been on maternity leave for a couple weeks now, it’s likely that she’s just days away. But if that weren’t enough to convince you, perhaps this will!
On Friday, April 5th, 2019, Daniel Martin was spotted in London. Now- unless you’re a true Meghan Markle watcher, you might not totally see the significance in his timing.
Daniel Martin is Meghan’s longtime friend and makeup artist. She worked with him on set as an actress and she also choose him for her wedding day makeup- which was a huge honor as she had only a very small team for her wedding day including a hair and makeup artist and her mum, Doria. Daniel was also one of the guests at the Meghan’s secretive New York baby shower and in January! The two have a special bond, and it makes sense that she would invite him out for the baby’s arrival.
Daniel’s arrival in London likely means that he’s ready for the Duchess’s first appearance after Baby S arrives. While Meghan may not opt for a full photoshoot just hours after her birth like Princess Di and Kate Middleton, she’ll be looking fresh with Daniel’s help if she chooses to!
Speaking on the royal podcast “On Heir,” royal commentator Omid Scobie shared that “Given what we know about Meghan, the optics of a totally glamorous, picture-perfect moment hours after giving birth are not quite in alignment with her views on the world.” While this may be true, Meghan may just surprise us all by following in her sister-in-law and mother-in-law’s footsteps!
Whether Meghan choose to do a baby debut photoshoot or not, we are so excited to finally meet Baby Sussex! We can’t wait to see if it’s a boy or girl! I personally think Baby S is a girl- what do you think?!
