Not to sound overly dramatic, but do you have your tissues handy? Might want to grab some real quick.
As the world tried to process the loss of iconic Star Wars beauty, Carrie Fisher, no less than 24 hours later we're also mourning the loss of her beloved mother, Debbie Reynolds.
2016, I think we've had all the losses we can handle for a long time.
TMZ recently spoke with Todd Fisher, Debbie's son and Carrie's brother.
According to him, he and Debbie were making funeral plans for Carrie earlier that day, and Debbie was really having a hard time with it, as most mothers would.
We can only imagine the immense heartbreak, confusion, and devastation she was going through. No parent should have to process through the loss of a child, no matter how old they are.
At one point during the day, Debbie commented:
"I miss her so much, I just want to be with Carrie."
Hardly fifteen minutes after she told her son this statement, Debbie suffered what we assume at this time to be a stroke and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
We can only fathom the pain she was trying to process. Now our hearts are even heavier for this family.
Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with Todd Fisher, Carrie's daughter, Billie Lourd, and the rest of their family as they attempt to process through this immensely trying time.
