Devastating has hit “Real Housewives” family as one of the members’ loved one has tragically passed.
Bethenny Frankel’s on-again-off-again lover, 51-year-old Dennis Shields, was confirmed dead on August 10.
Shields was the successful CEO of a company called LawCash.
Police reported that Shields was found dead in his apartment. He had been living in Trump Tower for some time.
According to sources, investigations have already cleared up a possible cause of death. “Dennis Shields had asked his assistant to administer Narcan around 9 a.m., believing he was overdosing on prescription pills.”
The source continued: “The 51-year-old lost consciousness before the medication, used to reverse opioid overdoses, kicked in. He was pronounced dead a short time later.”
Frankel and Shield reportedly had a complicated relationship. According to Fox News, she elaborated:
“I’ve been with someone on and off for years. It’s like a partnership where if we’re not being teammates and it’s not working and one man is down, then the other man is down. We’re trying to really kind of be good partners and be good teammates and I think relationships oddly are - and this sounds cold - but a little bit like a business.”
She continued: “If both people aren’t happy about it but slightly uncomfortable and giving up something or giving in[to] something, it doesn’t work. So both partners have to say, ‘Alright, I’m in it for this. And I think we might be at that point, believe it or not.”
A friend close to Frankel commented on her devastation. “Dennis is her rock. Dennis was important to her and her daughter. Another tragedy in her life. I’m so sad for her...This saddens me to no end because it seems to be never-ending for her.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
