The ocean is full of amazing creatures that take our breath away. Sharks, for instance, are some of the most beautiful yet dangerous creatures that make their home in the ocean. Even the largest of predators, however, needs help from time to time. The shark in this story needs help that only one person is willing to give him.

Michael Dornellas is doing some diving in Jupiter, Florida when he spots a shark in apparent distress. As Michael looks more closely, he notices that the shark has a large hook in its mouth. Michael knows that the hook could seriously injure the shark if left in place so, despite the danger, he swims over to see what he can do to help.

Michael knows how to put the shark in a temporary state of paralysis by flipping it over on its back in the water. Once he immobilizes the predator, Michael carefully removes the hook. The shark flips over and swims away without the hook to hinder him any longer. Michael respects all the creatures of the sea and, at least for one shark, Michael is a hero. Watch the video, below, to see the incredible underwater encounter!
