The Duchess of Cambridge is known for many things, but above her grace, charm, and elegance, is her impeccable style. While Kate’s arrival to any event is always anticipated, her outfit choice always manages to make international headlines.
This Easter Sunday was no except to the Duchess’ resume. Although, it was rather surprising.
Typically, Kate’s style is fresh, vibrant, and elegant. Her usual wardrobe compliments her splendid personality, making her appear inviting and friendly. Even during her pregnancies, the young Duchess has proven to make fashion-forward moves that have yet to disappoint.
For 2018’s Easter church service, Kate kept the public anxious; as the Queen and her posse arrived at St. George’s Chapel for the service, the Duke and Duchess were nowhere to be found…
The public had wondered if they would show, especially given the fact that Kate had just officially begun her maternity leave. Just when all hope to see the Duchess was lost, a car pulled up to the chapel!
Viewers wondered, “Could it be, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge?”
Hopes were fulfilled as Kate stepped out of the car behind her husband, William. The crowd cheered with excited energy. But while they were beyond thrilled to see their beloved royals, they couldn’t help but notice something off… something shocking….
Kate’s outfit choice.
Rather than dressing in typical Easter-dress (bright and vibrant color), Kate appeared to be dressed for a funeral. She was in a dark brown coat that appeared to black, a dark brown hat (also appearing to be black), nude heels and a nude clutch.
Kate was beautiful as ever, but her lack of color has surely confused the public. Why did she choose such a drab-colored outfit for such a vibrant day? In the past, Kate has opted for colorful and light dresses, so this year’s outfit choice was quite surprising!
Although, Kate was still stunning. Only three weeks away from her due date, Kate might just have been feeling the darker tones. Either way, she managed to steal the attention, as always!
