One of Hollywood’s most iconic actors has some pretty big news to share and people are losing their minds with excitement over it.
Emilio Estevez made his grand acting debut back in the early 1980s when he stepped onto the scene as part of the legendary film The Brat Pack.
He later skyrocketed to international fame when he became one of the most well-loved actors on the hit film, The Breakfast Club. To this day, many still rave over the brilliant acting performance done by someone of such a young age at the time.
Now, the 56-year-old still continues to act but has also expanded his horizons and does some directing and writing as well.
In 1984, he gained his greatest role yet when he became the father of a son named Taylor Levi. Now, 34 years later, his son has - yet again - given him another new role that he loves more than anything: Grandpa.
“My son is about to become a father himself. A lot is going to change,” he told sources. While spilling his incredibly exciting news, he made sure to mention just how proud he was of his son and the fact that they’ve had the opportunity to work together.
“It was wonderful to be able to have my son on set. I could lean into him for support as someone obviously who knew me for quite a long time,” he told.
While the date of his official “title upgrade” will happen, we are uncertain. Nevertheless, we know he’ll be one proud grandpa. We can’t wait to see pictures of the little one!
